We are a 2nd generation family owned and operated business for over 20 years.  We are here to educate and help you make the right decisions for all your rug needs. We are very laid back and easy going. Our very select inventory has been gathered by Mr. Varter Shirinian one by one.  We have a very large selection of both new and antique rugs from every part of the world that produces oriental rugs.

Varter’s rugs have a vast array of rugs both in regular and hard to find sizes. Varter’s rugs specialize on rugs of all formats including tribal or geometric, formal or floral, and modem or Persian Gabbeh. We have rugs coming from well-known rug makers all over the world including India, China, Persia, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Tibet, and Egypt.

Don’t know anything about purchasing Oriental rugs?

We at Varter’s will be happy to teach you about what to look for when purchasing an oriental rug. We can even go to your home and asses your space. We can advise you on the sizes we have available that may fit your particular areas. We, however, leave the design decisions to you. We do not interfere with our customer’s design tastes. Rest assured that we will provide you with a vast array of choices for all your design inclinations and preferences and we always give you our honest expert advice as to the quality of our rugs. We are laid back and we give no pressure to our customers. Enjoy selecting and browsing our rugs until you make your final choice.
